We spent two amazing days in the southern Utah playground of redrock and slot canyons with Robyn Cage shooting this music video. Robyn is always up for an adventure and this was definitely no exception! We filmed this in January with outside temperatures around 25 degrees… Brrr… But we were’t the ones in a tub and singing in the rain – that would be Robyn.
The much anticipated GoBig Films 2015 Demo Reel is here! Okay so maybe it wasn’t that anticipated, but we’re still proud of it! We’re so lucky to have worked on some amazing projects with some equally amazing people and clients. This year’s reel includes the #1 Pop Cover on YouTube for 2014 (Alex Boye’s music video of “Let It Go“), music videos for Robyn Cage, #1 Billboard artist Paul Cardall, Charley Jenkins (NBC’s Nashville Star), and fashion films for Haute Attitude Clothing, and much much more.
I teamed up with some amazing people to film this short fashion film – huge thanks to everyone involved!! My very good friend and crazy talented Carla Boecklin co-directed and wrote the story. Our amazing actors are Shona Kay and Christoper Squires. Incredible set design was done by Haute Hostess (Emily White). Our hair and makeup team did an absolutely fantastic job: Carley Throgmorton Hair Artistry, Becky Pedersen, Lindsey Tausinga. One of my favorite apparel designers Lisa Mecham designed the dresses with additional wardrobe by Haute Attitude. Victor Rybovich was also on set along with Carla capturing some amazing photos. Robyn Cage wrote and recorded the beautiful song that was inspired by Carla’s story (it will also be featured in an upcoming music video!) This was filmed in the red rock of Moab Utah (one of my favorite places on the planet!). The motel scenes were filmed in the room John Wayne used to stay in when he was filming in the area (cool!)
Check out this brilliant cinematic remix of Robyn Cage’s “Burning Now” by Kristin Royal. We revamped the intro and the color grading on the video for the remix version. Its amazing how the music completely changes the feel of the video – so cool! 🙂
Here are some behind the scenes images from a recent fashion film shoot in Moab Utah. We shot in the rustic Apache Motel (in the room John Wayne used to stay in) and in the red rocks near the famous Slick Rock bike trail. If you haven’t been to Moab, its simply one of the most amazing places on the planet – especially if you’re an adventure junkie like me… 🙂
