New Demo Reel

Video

The much anticipated GoBig Films 2015 Demo Reel is here!  Okay so maybe it wasn’t that anticipated, but we’re still proud of it!  We’re so lucky to have worked on some amazing projects with some equally amazing people and clients.  This year’s reel includes the #1 Pop Cover on YouTube for 2014 (Alex Boye’s music video of “Let It Go“), music videos for Robyn Cage, #1 Billboard artist Paul Cardall, Charley Jenkins (NBC’s Nashville Star), and fashion films for Haute Attitude Clothing, and much much more.

Reverie – a Fashion Film

Video

I teamed up with some amazing people to film this short fashion film – huge thanks to everyone involved!!  My very good friend and crazy talented Carla Boecklin co-directed and wrote the story.  Our amazing actors are Shona Kay and Christoper Squires.  Incredible set design was done by Haute Hostess (Emily White).  Our hair and makeup team did an absolutely fantastic job:  Carley Throgmorton Hair Artistry, Becky Pedersen, Lindsey Tausinga.  One of my favorite apparel designers Lisa Mecham designed the dresses with additional wardrobe by Haute Attitude.   Victor Rybovich was also on set along with Carla capturing some amazing photos.  Robyn Cage wrote and recorded the beautiful song that was inspired by Carla’s story (it will also be featured in an upcoming music video!)  This was filmed in the red rock of Moab Utah (one of my favorite places on the planet!).  The motel scenes were filmed in the room John Wayne used to stay in when he was filming in the area (cool!)

Behind the Scenes in Moab

Here are some behind the scenes images from a recent fashion film shoot in Moab Utah.  We shot in the rustic Apache Motel (in the room John Wayne used to stay in) and in the red rocks near the famous Slick Rock bike trail.  If you haven’t been to Moab, its simply one of the most amazing places on the planet – especially if you’re an adventure junkie like me… 🙂

Haute Attitude Fashion Film

Video

Here’s a new fashion film for new clothing company Haute Attitude.  It features model Jessica Ayn Lee along with her husband Colton Lee (we loved their onscreen chemistry)!  Hair/Makeup by the always amazing Amber Dawn Powell and styling by Stephanie Hooley.

Blonde Ambition

Here’s a new fashion film featuring the designs of Lisa Miller (LissMee Apparel) with model Ashlyn Ashby (@ NIYA Model Management).  Hair and makeup was done by the always amazing Amber Dawn Powell.  It was a busy night… we shot 3 looks and a fashion film all in about 4 hours. 🙂  This shoot was also featured at Sessions Magazine!

Ghost Story

This film was inspired by the old mining ruins that surround the area I live in. Big thanks go out to makeup artist Aspen McKenna and hairstylist Destiney McCuistion.

Starring Stephanie Hooley and Andrew Johnson

Spirit

I had the opportunity to work for the first time with model extraordinaire Haley Blue on a new fashion shoot. On board for makeup and hair were Aspen McKenna and Destiney Summers. They’re work on the shoot was absolutely superb as usual! Aspen also did wardrobe styling and designed the headpieces with Destiney also doing some of the headpiece design.

Walking Away

Here’s the latest fashion film. This one is with model Jana Dubois and makeup artist Aspen McKenna. I knew I wanted to shoot this one at night and use as much natural “street lamp” light as possible. I really like the results and am pretty amazed at the quality of the video with very little light. The first night of this shoot was on a Canon 5d Mark II and the second night was shot on a 5D Mark III. Canon did well – with better focusing (for stills) and a slight improvement in low light (the mark II was already amazing in low light) I’m in love with the new camera… By the way, Jana and Aspen are amazing to work with – true professionals! See more of their work at facebook.com/janaduboismodel and .aspenmckenna.com.
